Twenty seven years ago today at 2:00pm in the backyard of my parents house, I married the most amazing man in the world. Only God knew what was in store for us seven years later and Husband still remains my love, my life, my rock!!!
Happy Birthday Joseph!! Forty five years ago a very scared and young girl in Portland OR. gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who God guided into the hearts and arms of your loving parents. My birthday wish for you is the same as my wish for you everyday. Health, Happiness, and God’s graces for you and your family.
As your maternal birth grandmother would say: Be good to yourself! 🥰
I just got off the phone with Dr. Blake Welling of McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden UT. He is the neurosurgeon who saved my life 20 years ago yesterday. For 20 yrs. now I’ve called him on my birthday to thank him for giving me another one. He told me today how much he looks forward to it, and how happy it makes him feel. Like Dr. Bruce, another brilliant Dr. with absolutely no ego!!!
It had the potential for being a very bad start to the day 😳 I accidentally put salt on my Lehr Love Egg. Anybody that knows me, knows I DETEST salt. It can’t even touch my tongue without me spitting out the food & wiping off my tongue! Luckily I was able to wipe it off, follow it with a little pepper BEFORE I took a bite.
WOW!!! What a phenomenal early Christmas gift! My BFF Mary Weiler is flying me down to Palm Springs in January to stay with her & her hubby Dan for four days! I have a layover in San Francisco, so I’m hoping to see my nephew Adam Keefer, his beautiful wife Rama Katkar and their bundle of love, (still not here yet) my newest great nephew!!!
Being a keynote speaker at the 2018 TBI Conference in Tacoma WA. was the most exhilarating thing I’ve done since marrying the love of my life 25 years ago.
I’ve been in the process of steaming wallpaper off the walls in our bedroom. I was stunned when I found three layers on the wall behind our bed! The other walls just had one!
Our house was built in the 40’s and by the looks of the first paper that was hung, it’s been up the that long.
